What a great day we had on the water during our annual FLG Lake Clean Up on Saturday, June 5, 2021! With the support of Signal Ridge, Mountain View, and Lake Shore Marinas, and more than 75 community volunteers, we were able to remove a huge array of flotsam, jetsam, and other trash, including: 48 Dock Floats, Plastic and Teak Chairs, Fences, Water Toys (tubes and noodles), Solo Cups, Floating Logs and Sticks amongst other various items.

We'd also like to extend our sincere thanks to Glenville Saw Mill's Bryan Simon, who -- for the third year in a row -- donated his time and crane to help Friends of Lake Glenville remove debris from the lake.

As debris was dropped off at the Pine Creek Ramp, volunteers were rewarded with gift certificates from Whiteside Brewing Company, beverages and snacks donated from Ingles, and t-shirts and key chains from Mountain View Marine. We are so grateful for the volunteers and sponsors who donated their time and support to help keep Lake Glenville safe for all!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!! Nexts year's lake clean-up will take place on June 4th, 2022.
