NOTICE TO OUR MEMBERS & GUESTS ABOUT FLG EVENTS

In an effort to streamline the process, provide accurate and timely information to our host venues, and ensure the best possible experience for all, registration for FLG Events* is now online only. We are unfortunately no longer able to take walk-up attendees. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

To Register for an Event:

  • Individual: Choose this option if you are a single person attending an event by yourself.
  • Group Registration: Choose this option if you are attending with anyone else, including your spouse or partner who is also a Member, or bringing a guest.
* Unless otherwise signed. Does not apply to community service projects or events open to the public, such as lake clean-up or our July 4th fireworks celebration.

AHOY GLENVILLE NAVY!

Calling all fun-loving, competitive boaters to participate in Friends of Lake Glenville's 3rd Annual Gala Boat Parade!

Gather your crew, register to participate, and get decorating! Use your imagination in choosing a theme to wow the pre-fireworks crowd gathered to celebrate the Independence Day weekend!

WHEN:

Friday, July 5th, 2024. Gather in Gunpoint Bay (see map) to line-up at 8:00 pm. Parade starts promptly at 8:30 pm. Please listen to the directions of the lead boat “Bud”!

WHERE:

Gunpoint Bay is directly across the lake from Tater Knob. Parade route will start on the west side of Lake Glenville by cruising past The Point where the fireworks are shot, Trillium’s Lake Club, turning across the lake near Lil’ Switzerland and the private island, then cruising the east side of the lake along 107 N and making the turn again at Signal Ridge Marina for a second pass.

TO REGISTER: Text 828-421-9173 (Mollie Newman Hall @ Mountainview Marine) with the Captain’s name and phone number. You’ll be given a Boat # and other information, including where to pick up your number.

Prizes will be awarded by a group of distinguished judges. Then stick around for FLG’s 27th Annual Fireworks Over Lake Glenville.
