After nearly the wettest calendar year on record, with the lake at midsummer levels as winter set in, The Friends of Lake Glenville look forward to 2010 and the opportunity to again enjoy the clear mountain air and the pristine waters of the lake with family and friends.

Keep an eye on this site as the programs and gatherings for 2010 are announced.  If you got a survey last fall, as part of a statistical sample of lake-side and near lake property owners and have not sent it back, please complete it and send it back so your opinion gets counted and any ideas you have get considered.

Happy 2010!

Please join us on Saturday September 12, 2009, at 9am at the Trillium Clubhouse (on the golf course side, not the lake side) for breakfast ($12 per person) and to mingle with old friends and meet new ones.  Our speaker will be James McManus, a 35 year veteran of fishing on Lake Glenville and now a full time fishing guide with a Captain’s license.  Recommended by long time fishing guide and real estate mogule Marty Jones, James will cover all aspects of FISH & FISHING ON LAKE GLENVILLE.

Remember it’s not too late in the season to bring a friend along who might become a new FLG member and help kick off our 2010 membership drive.

The Friends of Lake Glenville Annual Meeting for 2009 will be held at the Glenville CDC on Highway 107, Saturday August 1, 2009, beginning at 9am.  A complementary breakfast will be served.
