Please join your friends and fellow Friends of Lake Glenville members at the August Member Breakfast and Annual Meeting Saturday August 7th, 2010, 8:30AM, at the Glenville CDC on Highway 107.  The cost is $12 per person.  In addition to enjoying a special breakfast and taking care of the official business of the group, the highlight will be a talk by George Frizzell, University Archivist at Western Carolina University, on the history of Lake Glenville and its creation, complete with photographs from the WCU archives.  Whether you’ve been on the lake since just after the dam was built or only moved in this summer, Mr. Frizzell should have some facts and pictures you have never heard about or seen before.
